I am presently sewing up one of my African fabrics, and loving it so far. I re-drafted the bodice of simplicity 2554 to a fitted blouse, I lowered the neck by 0.5" , I used lightweight broadcloth for lining , roll-hemmed the flounce from the right side so that the wrong side of fabric can roll up and I installed side invisible [...]
