I really enjoyed Mrs P’s class. I gained a lot and made some friends. In a short time, I was able to operate a sewing machine, made different stitches, use and interpret ready made patterns as well as form or improvise my own patterns. She is very dedicated and committed to helping everyone achieve their goals. She was always willing to demonstrate her techniques and very patient with students. I look forward to attending her sewing boot camp in the near future. I strongly recommend her for any of your sewing needs. 2017 Fundamentals 1, 2 and Tailoring Sewing Student. F A

I took the basic sewing class with Fabulously Modest by Omoesho in August 2017. A 12 week Fundamental 1, 2 and Tailoring program.
At first I never believed I could do it because I had never being on a sewing machine or sewn in my life. The first week I was nervous, but with Mrs P’s words of encouragement, her story of how she took on sewing with her method of facilitating the program , and all the materials she provided really helped me. At the end of the program, I was so proud and still very proud of myself of what I achieved in 12 weeks.Even though it was fundamental, but I felt I had more than fundamental. I was able to challenge myself taking on various sewing projects after the program with the help of detail understanding of sewing from Mrs P. This is a skill I will cherish for a long time. Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge. and providing opportunity for people like me to learn the skill… Mrs A.A

Learning how to sew for the very first time looked challenging. Like I didn’t know it was possible. I signed up for the beginner classes and I was amazed at how quickly I learnt the basics. Before I knew it I completed my very first project. A skirt after the second class.
The sewing skills I picked up from my time at Fabulously modest by Omoesho will forever be treasured.
Mrs P is a very patient teacher, and she pays attention to all her students. I’ll recommend her classes to everyone looking to least fast. Anonymous Fall 2017 Student

It has been a wonderful experience learning from Omoesho. Aminat is a phenomenal teacher that makes sewing seems as easy as ABC. Before attending her class, I wasn’t able to do a straight stitching, but I tell you, after the first class I was taught the tricks and techniques and several other technique. Now I can tackle any sewing like no one’s business. :) . Mrs P also inspires me to start my own sewing and alteration business, which I have started and enjoying every bit of it (ERE Alterations) – Bola A. Class of 2016

I KEPT POSTPONING THE IDEA TO GO INTO SEWING BECAUSE I WAS SO AFRAID IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT AND EXPENSIVE TO GET A PLACE WITH A PATIENT ONE-ON-ONE TYPE OF TRAINER. 95% OF MY ENQUIRIES BROUGHT ME BACK TO MRS P (AS WE CALL HER). AFTER (4) FOUR HOURS OF ATTENDING HER TRAINING MY FEAR WAS REPLACED WITH ENTHUSIASM AND I WAS URGED TO KEEP GOING AND I HAVE NEVER STOPPED. SHE WAS SO PATIENT, MOTIVATING, AND ENCOURAGING. ALWAYS THERE TO HELP OUT WHEN IT GETS TOUGH, YES FOR SURE YOU GET TO THAT STAGE TOO BUT MRS P GETS THE SEWING EXCITEMENT BUBBLING BACK AGAIN IN ME. MRS P IS PERSONALLY THERE FOR EACH OF US INDIVIDUALLY NOT WITHSTANDING ITS A CLASS WITH A GROUP OF PEOPLE. TODAY I HAVE ESTABLISHED A SMALL SEWING BUSINESS OF MY OWN TO START WITH. WOULD I RECOMMEND OMOESHO SEWING STUDIO TO ANYONE? ABSOLUTELY 100% PLUS ANYDAY ANYTIME. THANK YOU SO MUCH MRS P OF FABULOUSLY MODEST BY OMOESHO…. HENRIETTA ORENUGA (ALLELUIA APPAREL)

Mrs P had a very structured class with detailed schedule of expected instruction. We were able to quickly learn basic sewing skills, how to operate different types of sewing machines and learn about different types of fabric and the use of patterns to make different styles. Mrs P was strict (in a very good way :) ) and dedicated to ensuring that each student completed their class and homework on a timely basis in order to acquire new sewing skills. I am so glad I took her class, and would have probably moved on to the advanced course, but got relocated out of the country

I remember walking into Mrs P’s sewing class in 2016 with no knowledge of sewing or how to operate a sewing machine. It was nerve wracking but she assured me. Her teaching style was simple, classy and easy to understand. Undeniably, she made sewing fun and encouraged her students to keep sewing. Not only did she teach sewing, she taught the little tricks and the ‘inside trade’ of sewing. She inspired me to continue sewing and put my best projects forward. I can proudly say that I continue to sew for myself, family and friends. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me….. Dr B.
