This is a class to take your basic skill to the next level. The class will expand your skills and teach you how to professionally cut and finish a garment. Upon successful completion participant will

- Understand fabric grain-lines and cutting on grains and on bias
- Draft basic skirt pattern (Circle and pleated skirt)
- Pattern selection based on size and style
- How to cut pattern and prepare fabric for cutting
- How to read sewing pattern

This is a class to socialise and meet other sewing enthusiasts. In this forum participants bring along pattern of their choice and sew along with the rest of the class. This class is catered towards individual need and learning skill. Individual need can be fitting, lining, designer details, etc., Students are taught on an individual basis allowing you to pick up tips and techniques from other students’ projects. Retreat is organised on a statutory holiday weekend. Previous sewing and dress making experience required.
